Stephanie Jach
Lecturer
I have taught Primary Schools in York, Harrogate and Durham across the primary age range. During this time, I led history and geography, as well as implementing and embedding aspects of citizenship education. I have also worked as an associate lecturer and link tutor at Huddersfield University.
I began working at York St John in December 2020 and teach history and geography for the undergraduate Primary Education programme and the PGCE. I am also a Link Tutor.
I have a Masters’ Degree in Development Anthropology; my research focused the impact of volunteers on education projects in Tanzania. I am currently studying for a Professional Doctorate in Education (EdD) and my research interests include humanities and citizenship education.
