Staff Profile
Stephen Bailey
Senior Lecturer, Development Lead Physiotherapy
Before returning to academia in my role as a senior lecturer and Physiotherapy development lead, I had been a senior lecturer at York St John from 2004 to 2015. At that time I was involved in the development, delivery and assessment of physiotherapy programmes, and as a senior lecturer had a responsibility to ensure that the programmes I was involved in delivered a quality experience for students and that once qualified, graduates would be competent, reflective, critical thinking practitioners demonstrating leadership and decision making skills.
My interest revolves around Advanced Physiotherapy Practice in an MSK setting. Particular interest focuses on the use of corticosteroid soft tissue Injections
