Zoe Buckton

I am a PhD researcher in English, specialising in Science Fiction literature and media. My PhD research focuses on the concept of escaping the body through virtual reality and 'body-hopping' novum.

I previously studied for my Master's in Film and English Literature at University of York where I completed my thesis on the representation of infertile women in Science Fiction. During my undergraduate degree with York St John, I completed my dissertation on humanoid AI and gender in Science Fiction media.
