  • Large format posters up to A0 size
  • All stationery products
  • IT consumables such as USB memory sticks and portable HDD's
  • Laminating up to A1 size

Using the Konica Minolta printer/photocopiers

Print Services manages a fleet of over 50 Konica Minolta devices on the University's York and London Campuses, as well as the production machines in our print room. You will find many of these devices dotted around both campuses and they are all capable of print/scan/copy up to A3 size. We use software called PCut to administer both staff and student accounts.

Members of staff can logon to any of these devices using either their staff ID card. If you are new to YSJ your print account first needs to be activated by our team. Please contact us if you need your account activating and we'll do this as quickly as we can.

Please contact Print Services for any of the following issues relating to the Konica devices or PCut:

  • If you need spare toner cartridges or staples
  • To report faults or issues
  • If you need cost centres adding or removing from your account
  • Advice or assistance with scanning, printing or photocopying

Request Printing or Copying

To request print or copy from us, please fill out the photocopying requisition form which can be picked up from the Information Services desk as a hard copy.

We can accept work by email, disk, memory stick or hard copy. When submitting work by disk, memory stick or hard copy please ensure to include the requisition form and that it is filled out in as much detail as possible. For emailed work it is fine to simply let us know your requirements within the email, as long as you supply a valid cost centre and clear instructions on how the job should be completed.

Important Information

Print Services operate to a 3 working day SLA for all printing and copying, although most of the time we turn work around much faster. To avoid disappointment it is essential that you always allow 3 working days for us to complete your work, especially in busy periods.

We recommend that all large runs are sent to Print Services as this is more cost effective, and also ensures that local devices are not tied up for long periods. We are always happy to take on small print runs - no job is too small.

For your benefit we operate a 'sliding scale' pricing system for all colour printing & photocopying done by Print Services which saves you money. The larger the run, the cheaper the price.

Help & Advice

We are happy to offer advice on the best way to set up your work ready for printing and obtaining the best value for money. We do not offer a design or set up service.

Please always remember that we prefer electronic copies of documents where possible. (We are happy to accept hardcopies, but please be aware that a photocopied document may lose quality when copied)
