Health and Safety

Information about Health and Safety at York St John University.

Health and safety is the responsibility of the whole University community, including staff, students, volunteers, visitors and contractors.

To ensure health and safety matters are appropriately managed, the University has a robust Health & Safety structure in place with clearly identified responsibilities.

This includes Health, Safety and Wellbeing Committee, which is responsible to the Executive Board for the debate on, and agreement of, policy, strategic direction, and performance measurement in relation to the health, safety and wellbeing of students, staff, and members of the public.

If you have any questions about the University’s management of health and safety, please contact healthandsafetyteam@yorksj.ac.uk.
