Attend a workshop
Improve the skills you need for successful participation in your university studies. These workshops are open to all York St John students and are free of charge.
To help you to feel more prepared for university, you are welcome to join our online and in-person workshops.
We also have drop-in sessions where you can speak to a member of the ISLD team to talk about any questions you have about your language, study skills or assignment tasks. You can also use these drop-in sessions to practice speaking or presenting.

In this workshop, you will learn how to approach listening to English and will have the option to try it out. There is no pressure if you do not want to!
You can also enjoy some easy and friendly conversations where you can ask questions about speaking and listening in the UK.
