Choosing your modules
You need to gain the following credits from your modules:
- 27 to 30 ECTS (European) credits per semester
- 54 to 60 ECTS per year

The academic year is split into 2 semesters:
- Semester 1: 30 August until 16 January
- Semester 2: 17 January until 5 June

Accommodation in York
If you study abroad for 1 semester, you are guaranteed University accommodation for the semester you are in York. This is based on York St John dates.
Visas

International students: Please contact your Embassy for details.
Please make sure your passport is valid for at least 6 months after you intend to return.
You are required to obtain a UK Global Health Insurance Card (GHIC) before your departure. More information about applying for an GHIC is available on the NHS website.
