Minimum entry requirements

High School Diploma plus SATS 2.8 GPA or higher and one of the following: 1180 in the SAT, or 2 APs with a 3 or higher, or at least 24 in the ACT

Funding for American Students

Financial Aid is available for US students on undergraduate courses at York St John University in the form of Federal Loans. Further details are on our Loans for US students pages.

English Language requirements

If English is not your first language you must show evidence of your English language competence.

For most courses, you should have IELTS level 6.0 (with no skill below 5.5) or an equivalent qualification.

If you do not currently meet the English Language standard for your chosen course, we have a Pre-sessional English course that can help you.
