Using RaY

RaY, Research at York St John, is the University's institutional repository service.

RaY exists to store, showcase and share the University's research output.

If you have had a paper accepted for publication, follow these steps:

  • Upload your author-accepted manuscript to RaY.
  • Upload within a month of the date of acceptance.
  • Notify RaY as soon as your paper is published: ray@yorksj.ac.uk.

York St John University researchers should deposit all research outputs into RaY, as per the University's Open Access policy.

RaY supports all formats of research outputs, including (but not limited to):

  • Journal articles
  • Conference proceedings
  • Monographs
  • Book chapters
  • Physical artefacts
  • Exhibitions
  • Performances

Accessibility

All outputs uploaded to RaY must be accessible in accordance with the digital accessibility regulations.

Please make sure any Author Accepted Manuscript uploaded to RaY is accessible.
