Staff Profile

Dr Paul Stallard

Senior Lecturer

I completed an MSc in Society and Space at The University of Bristol in 1994 and a PhD in Geographies of Consumption investigating consumer subjectivity and retail branding at The University of Sheffield in 1999.

I then began a commercial career in marketing and health innovation. I worked for 15 years as a board level strategic partner in agencies including Jaywing, The Leith Agency and Stormbrands helping clients in multiple sectors deliver highly effective brand strategy, advertising and digital marketing.

I subsequently founded a successful brand strategy agency and worked as Brand Director for a global genetic health brand and as Managing Director of Europe for a global health and wellbeing brand.

I returned to academia in 2020 strongly motivated by using my academic and professional experience to help support students become world class marketers and business leaders.
