Qualtrics Survey

Everyone at York St John has access to Qualtrics which is a comprehensive survey tool. Access Qualtrics at yorksj.eu.qualtrics.com* using your standard York St John University login and password. More support is available from our Qualtrics Survey help page*

Microsoft Forms

This is part of Office 365 https://forms.office.com/ and can perform simple surveys, returning the data in an Excel sheet. See our help on Microsoft Forms

Data analysis

Nvivo

NVivo is a CAQDAS (Computer Assisted Qualitative Data Analysis System) that enables researchers to organize, analyse and share qualitative data efficiently.

NVivo is available on and off campus via AppsAnywhere.* Alternatively, for higher usage projects, you may download from QSR Downloads and install on your own device. Contact support@yorksj.ac.uk for a licence key to enable the software on your own device.

SPSS

SPSS is a software package aimed at statistical analysis of data. SPSS is available on PCs via the AppsAnywhere* software page. Support for using SPSS is from tutors and specialist technical staff who can help with the statistical requirements for particular assignments.
