Key dates, how to apply through UCAS and other ways to apply.
The January UCAS deadline has now passed but you can still apply for undergraduate courses starting in September 2023.
You can apply through the UCAS system until Friday 30 June and make 5 choices.

How to apply
Applications for full time higher education courses at UK universities or colleges must be made through UCAS (Universities and Colleges Admissions Service).
If you already have your qualifications, you can apply directly to us and we will accept you using a record of prior acceptance.
How to apply through UCAS
Applications through UCAS are made through their online system. You can apply for up to 5 choices of institution or course.
If you have used up all your 5 course choices and don't hold an offer you may be eligible for UCAS Extra.
You can find step by step guides and advice on the UCAS how to apply pages. We're also happy to give you help and advice. If you have any questions please email our Admissions team (firstname.lastname@example.org).
When making your application, you will need the institution code and course code.
The York St John University institution code is Y75 YSJ.
Course codes can be found on our course pages.
If you already have your qualifications
If you already have your results in place, you can apply directly to us and we will accept you using a record of prior acceptance. We will need to see scans or clear photos of your certificates and we will ask you to fill in a short form.
If you take this route, that means that you will be committed to us and that you will not be able to apply to other places. If you have not yet decided where you want to go, we would recommend that you apply through UCAS as above.
Get in touch with us at email@example.com and we will be happy to talk you through the process.
Offer schemes and mature students
We believe in removing barriers to education. Find out how we support our applicants.
We have a mature student entry scheme for people who have been out of education for 3 years or more. You can read more about how we help you return to learning on our mature student support page.
Applicants from outside the EU can apply directly to us.
