Student with powder paints at the holi festival

Friday 11 October: Global Campus Welcome Party

We are excited to welcome our intake of international students. We are so excited that we think it's time to celebrate!

Our Global Campus welcome party is free to join and there will be beer pong, karaoke and most importantly an amazing atmosphere of students from all around the world coming together for a fabulous night with new friends.

Join us in the Students' Union. Doors open at 6.00pm with the party growing throughout the night.

Make sure to book a ticket on Event Brite to let us know you are coming to party with us! Booking a ticket does not guarantee entry but helps us know how many people to expect. Entry will be on a first come, first served basis, so be sure to arrive early.

Friday 1 November: Diwali/Tihar

Get ready for a dancing extravaganza as we celebrate the Hindu and Sikh festival of lights.

This popular event has been running at York St John for over 10 years, so don't miss out on your chance to join in the fun! After the traditional ceremony, from YSJ's multifaith chaplain, join us to enjoy a delicious Indian meal, chai and snacks before dancing the evening away to a mixture of live music and popular songs.

This is a free event for all York St John students. Join us in the Dining Hall Extension from 5.30pm to 9.30pm.

Make sure to book a ticket to let us know you are coming to party with us!
