Christmas Fair (date to be confirmed)
Ho ho ho, it's the most wonderful time of the year! Get into the festive spirit with York St John's annual Christmas fair, brought to you by Global Campus in partnership with the Students' Union and small businesses from across York.
Find the perfect present for your friends and family, indulge in a mince pie, and try your luck on one of our classic Christmas fair games.
Bring some cash in case there is anything you would like to buy.
Friday 9 February: Bhutanese New Year
It's time to celebrate Losar! Join York St John's vibrant Bhutanese community to celebrate with traditional snacks, music and dancing.
Our Bhutanese students will come in their traditional dress while we welcome all other students to enjoy the culture and festivities of this wonderful time.
Booking for this event will open ahead of Semester 2.
Friday 23 February: Welcome Party
We are so excited to welcome a January cohort of international students to York St John. So excited in fact, we think it's time to celebrate again!
Join us for the legendary Global Campus International Welcome Party in the Students' Union. There will be beer pong, karaoke, prizes to win, and an amazing atmosphere as you celebrate the start of your York St John journey.
Join us at the Students' Union. Doors open at 7.00pm.

Friday 8 March: Holi
Join us for our annual colour throw, where we celebrate Holi festival, a spectacularly beautiful and colourful event, and the best excuse to get extremely messy!
Holi might be during the Easter holiday this year, but we couldn't miss out on one of our favourite events. We'll be celebrating early with gorgeous mehndi tattoos and mandalas, before heading outside for the joy of colour throwing!

Friday 12 April: Sri Lankan New Year
Come and celebrate Sri Lankan New Year with us! Enjoy traditional snacks, drinks, music and dancing as we welcome in another year. Try your hand at some Sri Lankan games and compete to win prizes!
