Keene State College is a public institution that was founded in 1909.

It deeply values diversity in the community and curriculum, whilst also being a place for students to live and learn together. The College is designed to foster conversation, collaboration, critical thinking and decision making. Keene State College has 75 student organisations and clubs to choose from, many events happen throughout the year on campus.

The city of Keene offers residents and visitors a range of cultural and education opportunities. Students have access to popular metropolitan areas such as Boston, Montreal, Portland and New York.

Keene State College was recently voted as one of the sustainable colleges in America. Keene State College is surrounded by stunning natural environment including rivers, hiking trails and lakes.

Choosing your modules

You need to gain the following credits from your modules: 

  • 12 to 15 US credits per semester
  • 24 to 30 US Credits per year.

The academic year is split into 2 semesters: 

  • Semester 1: Late August to Mid December 
  • Semester 2: Mid January to Early May
