Universitat Rovira I Virgili (URV) is in the province of Tarragona, in the north east of Spain.
This area is well connected with Europe and the rest of Spain. You can travel to Barcelona which is 60 miles away and Madrid is 350 miles away. The University is near the Mediterranean motorway, which links to France, and reaches as far as the Basque Country.
The climate and Mediterranean character provide a welcoming atmosphere. The town has open spaces for leisure, fun and culture. Certain times during the year people celebrate in the streets and have festivities, with some celebrating going on for several days.
Universitat Rovira, recognised for the quality of its teaching and research, aims for students to develop academically and improve the command of their languages. Teaching is learnt through lessons, seminars, workshops, and technical visits related to the course content. The University attracts about 500 exchange students every year, so you will be part of a strong international network.

If you study abroad for 1 semester, you are guaranteed York St John University accommodation for the semester you are in York. This is based on York St John dates.
