Willamette University at PNCA

Oregon, USA

Founded in 1909, Willamette University at the Pacific Northwest College of Art (PNCA) is a private, non-profit fine arts and design college.

The class sizes are a 9 to 1 student to faculty ratio and are small enough that the professors know students by name. You are encouraged to get to know your professor while they get to know you. You are encouraged to develop your creative, technical, and professional skills, collaborate and think critically all whilst studying.

Campus life at Willamette University at PNCA is rich with possibility for participation in student exhibitions, campus events, and club activities. There are also informal gatherings and spontaneous interactions. The University hosts more than 700 free public events each year, bringing important lecturers, panels, projects, and exhibitions to campus.

The university is situated in the centre of Portland, which is a city that's friendly enough to feel like a small town and is just 60 miles from both Mount Hood and the Pacific Ocean.
