Body image, body movement and eating behaviour research (BEAM) Research Group
This group is led by Dr Cristiana Duarte.
The Body image, body movement and eating behaviour (BEAM) research group aims to develop discussions and stimulate collaborative research on body image, physical activity and movement, and eating behaviour.
Research produced by this research team adopts quantitative, qualitative and mixed-methods methodological approaches, and considers a range of nonclinical and clinical populations.
We have monthly group meetings where we present and discuss our own research, and discuss current issues in eating behaviour and body image research, covering methodological, conceptual and practice topics.
