Book a tutorial

You can access tutorials tailored to your learning needs and goals, and Study Development will work with you on a learning plan appropriate for you.

In your tutorial, a Study Development tutor will help you with your academic work. You can work with us at any stage of your assignment, from receiving a brief to final proof reading.

We can help you:

  • Improve your study strategies
  • Reflect on your planning process
  • Develop your academic writing skills.

Attend a workshop or Study Retreat

Our Study Development workshops are open to all students.

In the autumn term, they will cover core skills: Active Reading, Critical Writing, and Time Management. We also offer maths workshops. Each workshop will run in-person and online.

If you can't make a workshop, come along to one of our weekly study retreats.

Our weekly study retreats are a space for structured work towards your own study goals. This could include reading, notetaking, writing an essay, working on a portfolio, preparing or planning a presentation. Whatever your priority is, we can help!

You can take part online or join us on campus in De Grey 016.
