Microsoft Teams provides an easy way to work collaboratively with other staff and students. This course can be customised for different teams or delivered to student groups.

PS1: Photoshop Essentials
Prior knowledge: None
Adobe Photoshop is excellent at manipulating bitmap images. It can be used to scale and prepare existing images for web and print use as well as having the tools to create from scratch. This introductory course will suit people getting started with Photoshop and preparing images for uses such as the York St John website.
This course is made up of two halves which together form an introduction to Photoshop.
If you want to cover the minimum requirements for editing the university website, the first half hour covers.

LA1: Learning Analytics (Ascend) Introduction
Ascend is the Learning Analytics system at York St John to support the tutorial process. It takes data from various systems and produces an engagement rating. It allows records from tutorial interactions to be kept and referrals to other university services to be made. Tutors can receive notifications of sustained high or low engagement.

WPM2: WPM online store listing products
Prior knowledge: None
Pre-requisites: York St John staff only
The WPM online store is the web store attached to the university website. This course covers the key skills to add products.
This course includes:
- Adding a product
- Adding questionnaires
- Amending e-mail templates
- Getting product reports
For staff wishing to gain access to edit or see data from the online store, you must apply to finance for an account using the form on the Miscellaneous tab on the Finance Forms page. You will require training which can be arranged by contacting digitaltraining@yorksj.ac.uk
