How to log in or change passwords for university systems.
Manage your accounts
Your YSJ IT account is used to access most of the university's digital systems including e:Vision. You can change or reset your password from the log in page for your account.
If you are applying for or staying in university accommodation you will have an accommodation account. You can reset your PIN from the log in page for your account.
If you are applying to study with us you will have an applicant account.
You should use your York St John IT account (username and password) to access online library resources, including ebooks, ejournals and databases.
You can use either your username or your full email address when logging in to library resources. For students, your username will be in the format jane.smith (for staff this would be j.smith). Your YSJ email address is your username followed by @yorksj.ac.uk.
You can check the items you have on loan by using your library account. This is a separate account and to log in you will need:
- Your individual borrower number (the same number that appears on your student ID card)
- Your individual 4 digit PIN (set by the user)
You can reset your PIN from the log-in page for your library account.
Students who have completed registration can connect immediately.
