Support for Learning in Practice - Band 3 and 4

This 3 hour interactive workshop aims to prepare assistants at bands 3 and 4 involved with the education of students to support effective placement learning experiences.

The course provides skills and knowledge to facilitate others to develop, and practice knowledge and skills in the workplace. It also prepares them to facilitate in assessing student competence.

Course information

By attending this course you will learn:

How to support the practice placement educator in teaching and assessing students on placement. This will include adult learning theories, creating an effective learning environment and assisting in the assessment process.

This course is aimed at Band 3 and 4 assistants who are involved in supporting students on placement.
