York Pride is an incredible event that brings people together in celebration. However, not all of us are comfortable in loud, busy spaces.

So we bring you Quiet Pride. A space to feel welcome, without music and crowds.

There are two sessions, 10.00am - 1.30pm and 2.00 - 5.30pm. Please only register for one session. We are hoping this will allow more people to experience the joy of Quiet Pride.

The venue is wheelchair accessible, has nearby accessible toilets and accessible parking. BSL interpreters will be booked for the duration of the day. Please visit the Quiet Pride website for more detailed information about accessibility.

Join us with your ear defenders, your mobility aids, or just bring your wonderful self! We want you to feel safe to be your most comfortable self, whatever that means to you. Wherever you want to sit or stand, there will be no pressure. Bring a book if you want, whatever makes you feel at home.

We'll have a quiet room where you can just sit and be, and an open art and craft space to work on a communal art project or individual art. All of these spaces will be for people to pop in and out of, with no need to book.

Alongside this, there will be scheduled activities - you don't have to take part, it's entirely up to you, and the more informal things will be happening alongside them. More information about these scheduled activities coming soon!
