I am a part time doctoral student interested in the impact and efficacy of participatory methods with children and young people. I have a background in family support, early years teaching experience and I am a professional photographer.

Research
I am interested in how creative participatory methods can be used to encourage youth voice and how we can navigate the complex nature of working with children and young people in research. Recently I have worked on the 'Toilet Talk' project alongside the Institute for Social Justice. During this project young people became part of the research team to explore issues within their sixth form and we co-delivered a blog article for the Gender and Education Association.
