I am Dr Lawrence Jones-Esan, a seasoned Senior Lecturer, Employability Lead, Semester Lead, and Director of the Global Healthcare Management module at York St John University. As a Senior Business, Innovation, and Enterprise Lecturer, I have played a pivotal role in shaping the intellectual growth of students at York St John University. My responsibilities encompass Programme Leadership in subjects such as Marketing Strategy, Managing International Projects, International Business, and Global Healthcare Management. Beyond this, I have worked as the Associate Programme Manager, overseeing the academic trajectory of both undergraduate and postgraduate programs at the Faculty of Business and Law at the University of Sunderland in London.

My passion for education and entrepreneurship has fuelled my endeavours. I stand as the Founder and CEO of the London Academy Business School, a dynamic institution with branches spanning the UK, Dubai, and Nigeria. My unwavering commitment to fostering entrepreneurial spirit has led me to establish the Virtual University of Entrepreneurship. Furthermore, I am a Co-Founder and Director of Academic Operations at the African Youth Chamber of Commerce and Investment (AYCCI), solidifying my position as an entrepreneur and respected business management consultant.

My professional pursuits transcend geographical boundaries. Certified as an IT Trainer (MCT), I have been an instrumental part of trade missions that tirelessly promote UK education across the globe, spanning countries such as India, Pakistan, Nepal, Ghana, Cameroon, Hong Kong, Thailand, and Nigeria. I have orchestrated impactful training tours, conferences, and programs across diverse sectors, including Banking & Finance, Leadership, Project Management, and Entrepreneurship. My executive education involvement encompasses intricate subjects like Financial Derivatives, Consolidated Supervision, Risk-Based Supervision, Microfinance, Banknotes and Currency Management, and Resident Banking Examination.

Humanitarian Initiatives

My commitment to positive change drives my initiatives. I have initiated poverty reduction programs in developing nations and spearheaded graduate job readiness programs in the UK, Ghana, Uganda, and Nigeria. Additionally, I have contributed insights to guide the Japanese government's efforts in graduate job readiness programs.
