Madu Weerasinghe

I am an MBA student, currently on my industrial placement with Student Opportunities and Careers at York St John London Campus.

I completed my BA in Business Management with Human Resources Management at the University of Westminster London and have worked in the UK, UAE and Sri Lanka after graduation covering multiple sectors such as human resources, commercial real estate, retail, public services and media.

My tenure at the York St John Students' Union as the International Student Officer and as a Student Ambassador has enabled a wider engagement with students, identifying gaps in student experience and opportunities.

In my spare time I enjoy painting, writing, volunteering, nature hikes and the beach.
