Teaching
My own teaching career has spanned state, UK independent and international sectors, including school leadership and working as a local authority Education Development Advisor. At York St John, I lead ITE primary music and teach on a wide range of ITE modules, including professional electives, core and wider curriculum modules.
Research
As well as my work with the Institute of Social Justice and @_ITERC, other current projects include an ethnographic study using actor-network theory and concepts from literacy studies to investigate how education reform influences teachers' professional practices.
