Dr Yang Lu
Before I joined York St John University in 2021, I worked at the University of Kent as a postdoctoral researcher on PriVELT: PRIvacy-aware personal data management and Value Enhancement for Leisure Travellers, an EPSRC-funded project (2018 to 2021).
I did my PhD in eHealth, cyber security, artificial intelligence, and semantic web technology at the University of Melbourne, Australia (2014 to 2018).
My research interests include information security, trustworthy data space, privacy protection in cyber-physical world, social media, and digital solutions in smart cities.
I supervise students at undergraduate, MSc by research, and PhD levels. Enquiries from prospective postgraduate students are always welcome.
