Research
Art, Gender, Spirituality Research Group
This research group is led by Dr Sharon Jagger.
This group aims to explore artistic practices that incorporate and represent spirituality and the entanglements with how we (de)construct gender.
Our projects are varied and we come together to collaborate through music, performance, and fine art practice.
We explore, through feminist lenses, ideas around representing goddess spirituality, how rituals and art intersect, and how spirituality can be considered in its broadest sense as a tool for challenging gender oppression.

We welcome enquiries from researchers with an artistic practice that seeks to explore both spirituality and gender.
