Celebrating alumni stories

Stalls of our years
This year, we're celebrating our alumni community by giving you space to reconnect with alumni who studied at the same time as you.
During the day, our canteen will be transformed into a timeline, with different stalls set up to represent the decades of our alumni attendees. Including photos and archive items, each stall will include an area for you to meet and chat with your fellow alumni.

College of Ripon and York St John (CRYSJ) yearbook signing and collection point
Alumni who ordered a yearbook and chose to collect it at the reunion will have the opportunity to collect their copy and sign the University edition.
If you forgot to order a copy, details of how to buy one will also be available on the day. Please note that no yearbooks will be available for purchase on the day as they are pre-order only.

YSJ Quiz
Brush up on your general knowledge and University history for the chance to win prizes in our reunion quiz!
Join us in the Students' Union for a fun quiz hosted by the Alumni team. No need to pre-book, just sign up with your quiz team on the day.

Visitor information
Parking
Our Lord Mayor's Walk campus is close to local car parks. A full list of council run car parks can be found on the City of York council website. We do not have any general parking on campus, and any cars parked without permission will be billed.
There are a limited number of parking spaces for Blue Badge holders on campus. If you require one of these spaces for the reunion, please email alumni@yorksj.ac.uk.
To avoid expensive car parking charges, we recommend using local Park and Ride services. You can find out more about Park and Ride options on the iTravel York website.
Public transport
Our campus is located in the city centre, 0.9 miles from York Train Station and close to bus routes. For more information about public transport in and around York, check the Visit York website.
Overnight accommodation
Student accommodation is not available to book for this reunion. After feedback from our 2023 reunion, the reunion date was moved to earlier in the summer, outside of the school summer holidays. Therefore, students are still in residence and so we are unable to offer any accommodation.
For more information about accommodation in York, please see the Visit York website.
