Replacements and certified copies of certificates
Former students who have graduated with a York St John University award can request a replacement or certified copy of a certificate.
Replacement certificates
If your award was issued by York St John University, you can request a replacement certificate using the University's Online Store (in the Navigation choose Product Catalogue, University Services, and then Transcripts and Certificates).
Each replacement certificate costs £30.
Students may collect their replacement certificate from the Student Information Desk in Holgate, have it posted by standard Royal Mail, or for an additional fee, by DHL Courier Service. If you have any queries contact Student Records on 01904 876757 or at studentrecords@yorksj.ac.uk.
University of Leeds Certificates
If your degree was validated by the University of Leeds you can request a replacement certificate by using their online store.
University of York Degree Certificates
If your degree was validated by the University of York you can request a replacement certificate by emailing exams@york.ac.uk.
Certified copies of certificates and transcripts
You must provide high quality photocopies of your York St John University award certificates in order for them to be certified.
You should order and pay for this service by using the University's Online Store (from the Navigation menu, choose Product Catalogue, then University Services, and Transcripts and Certificates).
£10.00 for 1 to 10 copies, ordered at the same time
£15.00 for 11+ copies, ordered at the same time
When you have placed and paid for your order, please e-mail your scanned copy to studentrecords@yorksj.ac.uk or post a hard copy to: Registry, Ripon Wing, Lord Mayor's Walk, York St John University, York, YO31 7EX.
Requests for certified photocopies of University of Leeds or University of York certificates must be made directly to the appropriate university.
