Student projects

New for 2023

We are looking for organisations to partner with to develop business projects for students.

Finding solutions to problems or identifying new opportunities for growth can be complex and time consuming for businesses but a fantastic opportunity for students to enhance their learning and develop their employability.

Our student project initiative will bridge the gap between industry and academia by providing short term consultancy projects that can help you reach your goals faster.

Perhaps you'd like to expand into a new market, devise a new strategy, or assess an opportunity. Whatever your challenge, we will work with you to set a project brief, before organising our students into collaborative groups to explore solutions. With guidance and academic support, they will work towards presenting their findings for you to take forward and propel your business.

Not only will your business benefit from the proposals our students produce, but this also provides a great development opportunity for your team members as they engage with students and academic staff on the project. This worthwhile endeavour will also provide your team members with the opportunity to give back to the community, demonstrating a commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion.

If you would like to find out more about our student projects, please contact Julius Ibrahim, Enterprise and Innovations Manager.

Enterprise Academy

We are looking for external partners to work with our Enterprise Academy as a speaker or funder.

The Enterprise Academy is our start-up and leadership accelerator programme developed and delivered by entrepreneurs and industry professionals.

Through a structured 24 week programme, we support our students through the entrepreneurial journey, from ideation to investment-readiness, and everything in between. We coach and mentor our students, empowering them through interactive workshops, case studies, industry speakers and tutorials. The programme culminates in our Big Pitch Competition where students pitch and compete for further mentorship, cash prizes, and investment to supercharge their business and propel them forward.

To find out more about how you can engage with the Enterprise Academy programme as an organisational partner, please contact Julius Ibrahim, Enterprise and Innovations Manager.

Graduate recruitment

Our Careers and Employability team take our students on a career journey that transforms them into commercially viable and successful graduates. Our tailored support includes commercial sessions led by industry representatives.

Our postgraduate and international student body represent the future across the business, technology, digital marketing and healthcare sectors. They offer outstanding theoretical knowledge as well as practical and commercial experience from a diverse cultural background.

To find out more about engaging with our graduates or posting a graduate job on our London job board contact Paul Baker, Head of Student Opportunities.

Placements and internships

Central to our graduate employability is a 12 month commercial placement. This lets our students take a reflective view of the challenges and opportunities within a commercial setting, while improving their employability.

If you are interested in discussing a placement opportunity with our students or would like to post a term time internship on our London job board, contact Paul Baker, Head of Student Opportunities.

Events

Key to our drive to make our graduates and alumni successful is industry-led partnership events. From cottage industry led start-ups to multinationals, our students learn first-hand how to level up their career from the people who know best.

Organisations benefit from an increased visibility to our student body.

If you would like to learn more, or are interested getting involved, please contact Paul Baker, Head of Student Opportunities.
