The vision of the Advancing Your Career Series is to empower our students to unlock their full potential to pursue a rewarding and sustainable career, becoming fully developed future leaders.

Combined our students represent 42 countries and we work with over 60 businesses globally. As a cross-centre collaboration, it is our mission to provide a transformative experience for our students.

What the Careers Series includes

The core philosophy behind the Career Series is to develop the 'whole person' professionally and emotionally. It is an approach that focuses on improving personal and emotional wellbeing as well as professional development.

The Careers Series is split into 3 parts.

This week will centre on fostering a positive headspace to optimise career success. Our events aim to promote a positive approach to your career journey, focusing on:

• Building confidence
• Overcoming imposter syndrome
• Building resilience
• Positive personal branding

This week will centre on more practical preparation such as:

• Psychometric testing
• Group assessment centres
• CV and cover letter workshops
• Choosing a career
• How to search for opportunities and interview techniques

This will be a week of employer led events, including a Careers Fair, which will allow you to explore multiple industries, pathways and opportunities.
