Partner with employers and get first-hand experience of company culture and career paths. You can also network with key stakeholders.

You can interact with employers related to your degree or meet employers out of interest.

Career fairs

London Career Week is open to students from every discipline and level of study. You will build new skills and knowledge, and gain accreditations. The activities, events and workshops will add to your CV and personal development.

Each year we also organise targeted Career Fairs in London and York. You will have access to employers from different sectors to find out about placements, part time work and graduate jobs.

Industry opportunities

Enhance your employability with industry experience. They are also a chance for you to apply the knowledge and skills you have developed during your degree.

You can gain industry experience through the following ways:

  • Placements
  • Short internships
  • Industry projects

We provide advice and guidance to help you secure your placement. Your Placement Adviser will support you during your placement. You will remain a student with access to all the university’s services and support. Your successful placement will be included on your degree certificate.
