We provide support and advice on your accommodation during your time with us.
Your safety is our main priority and we are here to support you.
We know these are difficult times and you may have concerns about moving away from home but we are here to help to settle in.
Our accommodation will be open as normal in September, based on the latest government advice. When you move into your student accommodation your flatmates will become your household.
We all need to work together to keep each other safe. We can do this by:
Keeping our accommodation clean
We always deep clean and disinfect your room before you move in so you do not need to worry about it when you get here.
We will all play our part in keeping our accommodation clean. We will clean shared spaces such as entrances, stairwells and laundry rooms. You will need to keep your own room, kitchen and bathroom clean.
Self-isolating when needed
If you or one of your flatmates becomes unwell you will need to follow the latest government advice on self-isolation. You will need to self-isolate together as a household.
To help you we will:
- Give you details of who to contact if you or your household need to self isolate
- Make sure you have the supplies you need for the first 2 to 3 days
- Provide details of food delivery options.
You can also contact the wellbeing team and medical practice for online support.
Checking the latest advice for visitors
You will be allowed visitors to your flat but you will need to follow public health advice. Make sure you check the government website before inviting someone to visit.
