Returning to university accommodation
Some students may be eligible to return to university accommodation after first year. Find out more about eligibility and how to apply.
So that we are able to guarantee accommodation for first year students, we are generally required to significantly limit the number of returning students we can accept back into our accommodation.
Applications for the 2025/26 academic year
The application process for students requesting to return to University managed accommodation for the 2025/26 academic year closed on the 30 November 2024. As such, we would recommend that you refer to our House Hunting pages for helpful advice and information about looking for private accommodation in York.
