The 2016 50 Must-Read Higher Ed IT Blogs published by Ed Tech magazine groups together education technology thought leaders who share not-to-be-missed analyses of higher education technology trends, challenges and opportunities.

The TEL blog at York St John University shares information about emerging technologies and offers practical guidance to enhance users’ practice. It was ranked alongside a wide range of other leading international higher education blogs. Readers of Ed Tech magazine were asked to nominate their favourite blogs or ones they relied on for cutting-edge insight in the world of education technology.

Phil Vincent, Technology Enhanced Learning Manager at York St John University said:

“We’re very proud to have been featured in this list, alongside many of the blogs we look to ourselves for the latest developments in Technology Enhanced Learning. Whilst it’s great to receive such recognition from our peers, our focus will always be to provide information, advice and support to the academic community here at YSJ, and we hope that this will enable us to reach more of them in this way.”

Mandy Asghar, Director of Academic Development at York St John University added:

“The technology enhanced learning team work hard to inspire staff to think creatively about how to use technology in pedagogically effective ways to enhance the student experience. This international recognition is testament to their willingness to share their ideas with a wide ranging audience.”
