York St John University and Hunan University of Commerce work together

Representatives from HUC, which is based in Changsha, China were on campus last week and had a tour of the campus and met key staff from the Business School. 

The relationship between the two universities began in 2014 with numbers of students from HUC coming over to York for top-up programmes increasing each year since. In September 15 students are expected at York St John.

HUC is a provincial university with bachelor and master majors covering areas of economics, management, law, liberal arts, science and engineering. It is appraised as one of the best universities in the Undergraduate Teaching Quality Evaluation Program by the National Education Ministry in China. It has exchange relationships of cooperative education programmes with more than 10 universities and research institutes from around the world including the Netherlands, Ireland, the United States, Canada and Australia.
