Christmas card competition

The winner of York St John University’s Christmas Card Competition has been announced.

The University worked with Burton Green Primary School, in the city, on the project which involved each year group working on a different design. These were then judged by a panel of York St John staff, including Professor David Fleming, Vice Chancellor.

The winner from each group was presented with a certificate and framed image of their design.

April Sedman was the Year 3 winner and Aleah Mills, the winner from Year 4. Kaiden Butler came top in Year 5 and the winner in Year 6 was Mariya Jaico.

The overall winner was Kaiden Butler who received a box of his printed cards. Two thousand cards with Kaiden’s snowman design will be sent out to organisations, businesses, schools and other partners who work with the University.
